Dr. Newsom is the founder and leader of our ophthalmology practice. He specializes in Cataract, Glaucoma and LASIK surgery. Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Newsom brings a wealth of experience, awards, and research to the practice.

Born in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Newsom’s non-medical interests include water & snow skiing, tennis, remote control airplanes and helicopters, and traveling. He is married to Stacy, and they have a daughter Madison and twins Brooke and Chase.
